First and foremost, Asylon has received multiple beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) waivers. One of these waiver types has only been issued 5 times in history and enables Operations Over People (OOP), Operations Over Moving Vehicles (OOMV), and Nighttime Operations while designating the Robotic Security Operations Center (RSOC) Analyst as the Remote Pilot In Command (RPIC)
Our founding team includes a number of MIT grads from the aerospace industry. Regulations, compliance, and standards are a key focal point for the company. Asylon is fully Compliant with NDAA FY2020 Section 848 and Executive Order 13981, holds an Army Airworthiness Certificate, is FAA Part 107.29 approved, and is the only automated system approved to operate at a major U.S. airport (MEM) as part of the FAA BEYOND program. Our unmanned aerial system (UAS) is the first U.S. made platform to be ASTM parachute certified. Earlier in 2021, we brought former FAA Administrator Dan Elwell onto our advisory board as we continue to work closely with the FAA and push the technological limits of UAS.
