ABOUT

Background & Experience

Anthony McCarty is a Senior Vice President at Asylon Robotics where he manages expansion of drone and ground-based robotic perimeter security solutions across military and federal agencies. As a veteran with 30 years of wide-ranging military and government experience, he brings unmatched credibility across nuclear security, DoW policy, congressional affairs, and Al-driven technology transition to Asylon’s government growth mission.

Before joining Asylon, Anthony had an extensive military career, serving as a Commander in the US Air Force at multiple levels, including the 91st Security Forces Group at Minot AFB where he was responsible for 1,000+ personnel across four squadron-level organizations. He was also tasked with defending a third of the nation’s ICBM force (Minuteman Ill missiles), with the highest concentration of Security Forces Airmen in the DoW at any single installation.

Earlier in his career he worked in DoW Policy and legislative affairs on Capitol Hill, including roles as Director of Force Protection and Emerging Threats at the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Air Force Legislative Fellow to Senator Inhofe, Deputy Chief at the Air Force Senate Liaison Office, and Defense Legislative Fellow at the FBI. After retiring from military and government service, Anthony became Senior Director of Government Technology Transition at Aptima, a leading defense tech company, where he helped integrate Al technology into operationally-focused government functions.

Today, he applies his extensive experience and wide-ranging expertise at Asylon, helping government clients navigate policy restrictions and get emerging technologies to the field at the speed of relevancy. Under Anthony’s leadership, Asylon now delivers autonomous operations across aircraft, ship, and infrastructure inspection via the MARIA program (aircraft inspection at Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Georgia), a Phase Three contract awarded in July 2026.
