ABOUT

Background & Experience

Dennis Crowley is Chief Growth Officer at Asylon Robotics, where he leads commercial and government revenue growth, enterprise sales, marketing, channel partnerships, and go-to-market strategy. His professional relationship with Asylon began years before joining full-time, first as an investor and member of its Tech Advisory Board. He was drawn to the company’s entrepreneurial culture, customer-first approach, and managed-service model qualities that he utilized at the company he had spent decades building.

Dennis co-founded Apollo Security International in 1990 and helped it grow into the 13th-largest private security company in the U.S. As CEO, he elevated yearly revenue from $20M to nearly $90M, and increased the workforce from 800 to 3,500 employees. His tenure also included managing security for the New England Patriots football team during their first three Super Bowl victories.

Following Apollo’s acquisition by Allied Universal in 2016, Dennis became SVP of Integrated Technology, leading a division focused on autonomous robotics, AI-powered video surveillance, remote monitoring, and command center technology. He later founded Belenus Holdings, a family office investing primarily in emerging security and defense technologies, while serving as a senior advisor on potential take-private transactions totaling more than $1B.

Dennis brings his vast experience, investment perspective, and wide industry network to Asylon as it moves from early adoption toward broader market acceptance. His business philosophy centers on educating the market, building trusted references, driving long-lasting retention, and allowing growth to compound. Dennis is also an adjunct professor of Entrepreneurial Thinking at Suffolk University where he brings his well-earned insights on entrepreneurship and emerging technology.
